D- Dark and dangerous, it really was
A- As though time had paused
R- Remains which were earlier lost, now could be seen
K- Knell was the sound which echoed while the light lost its sheen
N- Never before were the apparitions so horribly visible
E- Eventually they came,making our frames tremble
S- So had said the wise,be careful when you embark
S- So sorry were we, to heed the much needed advice, after dark
This is an acrostic poem. Personally my favourite type. I feel that a poem of this nature really brings out the pronounced verdict of the poet.
